Service Teams

In Destiny Impact, Service Teams are service groups where youths can come together to support the community.

The Encounter Service Team provides musical worship, and the Imagine Service Team provides projection support and also in media production. To find out more about these service teams, please click on the thumbnails below.

Opportunities to serve

Who is it for?
This opportunity is extended to all regular Destiny Impactors who wish to contribute their service to the D.I. community.

Do I need to have the relevant skills/talents?
No. Although having the relevant skillsets will be appreciated, Destiny Impact accepts anyone as long as they have the willingness and the availability to serve. Besides, training will be provided. =)

What do I have to do to volunteer?
Simply look through the details of the service teams, pray about your decision and discuss with your zone leaders about it. After you have done so, feel free to approach Andy (for Encounter) or Carol (for Imagine) to voice out your interest! Destiny Impact strongly encourages you to take this small step of faith!

Can I serve in more than one service team?
Destiny Impact would only encourage impactors to serve in one service team to prevent anyone from wearing out because in service, everyone will be expected to sacrifice time and put in effort. And don't forget, you still have your studies to work hard in!

What can I expect from serving?
Service is a challenge that most Christians face because it requires you to sacrifice time and effort (e.g. in music practice, meetings, preparing articles/slides/videos) and sometimes even stretch your faith. However, it can also be a very joyful experience to be able to see God being glorified through your service.
